Alanna Dickson was born and raised in Grande Prairie and, following the completion of her graduate degree, has made it her home for the past 12 years.
Ms. Dickson is a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) registered with both the Alberta Institute of Agrologists and the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists, and holds an M.Sc. in Soil Science from the Universtiy of Saskatchwan specializing in soil chemistry and microbiology. She has worked in the environmental consulting sector for over 15 years with a focus on contaminated soils assessment, soil monitoring and management, and spill response related to produced water, emulsion, and hydrocarbon releases. Ms. Dickson also instructs internal and external technical courses related to her area of expertise.
Alanna takes pride in her community and is interested in giving back in ways that are meaningful to other community members.
